Equipment for Erecting and Sealing the Box

A box forming case erector starts the boxing process by taking a flat corrugated box and folding it into the standard recognizable shape. These machines can be connected with our case sealers to streamline the process of folding and taping a box.

Basic case sealers have a set of gripping belts that grab a box and seal it. The belts pull the corrugated carton through the machine where two tape cartridges seal the box. These machines used standard box sealing tape, but are more efficient and reliable than a manual process with regular tape dispensers.

Date, Time, and Label Coding Equipment

Contact carton coders are designed for printing on corrugated containers, bags, or even web printing. The Lincoln rolling coders are best for date and batch coding as well as product identification. These coders can be mounted for easy automatic coding as packages roll by.

Microjet inkjet printers from Little David are the next step from a rolling coder. These printers have the ability to print multiple lines and multiple messages. These date coders can be mounted into your production line in an addition to your other machines to identify and mark your packages.

Label applicators are used in packaging rooms to apply pre-printed labels to your packaging. Our labeling machines work great for automatically applying labels tocorrugated boxes, bags, and various other packaging containment.

PTI’s Datamax label printer has been created with a die-cast aluminum frame, giving it a light weight, reliable and durable feel. With 8Mb of memory, this labeler has the ability to print 25 different bar codes with 6 different input methods.

Heat sealing equipment is an excellent choice for providing a protective wrap to your product. By wrapping individual products with a clear shrink film, these machines can also be used at the end of the process where the shrink wrapper can provide an extra layer of product protection or group unboxed products together for sale.

These pieces of equipment are portable heat sealing systems. They are primarily for smaller business and store fronts that re-seal items or shrink wrap bundles of products together for display. Simply put the products in the film, pull down the cutting wire. The heat gun (included), shrinks the shrink wrap to be form fitting to your product.

An alternate way to bundle your boxes together would be to strap them with one of our table top strapping machines. Using coils of specific poly machine strapping, a band is wrapped around your group of boxes, tensioned, and sealed to ensure they stay together during shipping and storage.

Powered hand strapping tools are used for stationary applications (such as pallet or larger box strapping). It tensions the pre-cut tool specific strapping, seals the strap together, then cuts the leftovers for disposal.

A stretch wrapper is used to help contain and stabilize loads that your strapping machines could not handle. Using a plastic stretch wrap film, the loads is rotated on a turntable while the wrap is applied. As the carriage holding the wrap moves up and down, the entire load is wrapped in just 2 minutes!

For smaller shipping operations, a foot operated turntable is used to stabilize loads. The pallet is set onto the turntable via forklift or lift truck and the user operated a foot pedal that rotates the turntable. As the table rotates, the operator hold the stretch wrap in hand to wrap the entire load.
