The Little David Model LD-7 Uniform Case Taper is an economical top and bottom case taper for sealing large runs of uniform cases, or for those applications that require infrequent case size changes.
The LD-7 features similar heavy-duty construction and ease of operation that Loveshaw products are known and recognized for. It includes self-centering side rails as well as a heavy duty 2" x 4" mast with a flat constant tension spring which balances the upper head and allows easy case height adjustments to be made in only seconds.
The LD-7 applies strips of pressure sensitive tape to both the top and bottom center seam of the case simultaneously. As the case passes through the machine, rubber rollers wipe down the top and bottom tape. The securely sealed case is automatically discharged, and the LD-7 is then ready to process another case.
Top and bottom tape cartridges are removable and interchangeable with each other. Leg extensions allow easy height adjustment from 22" to 30" for maximum operator comfort.
